Microsoft Spying & Being a Pain
Microsoft is a pain in the ass! Just this evenin..g after I established this blog, I got a pop up, by Microsoft for their Live Writer, inviting me to use this product to set up a blog, but if I already had one then they would still help, heck they'd even move my blog if I wanted them to, yeah, right!
OK, I get ticked off easily, especially when someone is watching what I'm doing on my computer, which Microsoft is, and does, and there's no way to really stop them unless I switch to another operating system and let's be totally honest, Microsoft has seen to it that very little runs on any computer that doesn't have their operating system. Curse Bill Gates and his salesmanship!
I mean Linux is a perfectly fine operating system, but finding software that is compatible with it is a pain in the butt too, and finding compatible software that actually works is even harder. Mr. Gates has seen to that by giving his operating system away to computer hardware manufacturers at the start, then selling at a reduced OEM price, and we can't buy at that.
How do I know this, I was in the industry for a long time, and I've kept up. But that doesn't matter, I could say that I read the papers, magazines and all that stuff, but in reality I talk to people who are in the business and know much more than I do, and they keep me in touch with what's happening.
The only way to protect yourself from Microsoft, Yahoo and others, is to stay off your computer, or do not connect to the internet, do not allow any phone lines to your computer, do not have a modem on your computer. That might help, but you can never be sure.
No I don't suffer paranoia, I was in computer security for 10 years, I have a clue. But Microsoft spies on us, and I don't like it, it bothers my peace of mind, when I can find it, and frankly I have trouble finding my peace of mind, and even worse there are nights I have trouble finding my mind.
As the old saying goes, "Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most."
Have a good evening/morning/afternoon, all depending on where you are.
