Me, Myself and I

Brain
Me, Myself & I

The title of this domain/blog really ought to be Me, Myself, and I but is as you can see, I and Me, it's all right but not perfect. Oh well, at least it's a domain name.

Today subject is FedEx, you know the international shipping company. FedEx is a good company, prompt, courteous, all the things a shipping company ought to be, except for their on-line shipping, that leaves something to be desired.

For three days now I've been trying to get a package shipped using their on-line shipping forms and it won't work. At first I thought it was because I used my P.O. Box, so I changed it to my physical address, that didn't work, so I changed it to my sister's physical address, just down the road and a place where FedEx picks up and delivers regularly, but NOOOO, that wouldn't work either. Now, I want this understood, I shopped shippers before choosing FedEx, the package is over sized, large and but not to heavy due to creative packaging. It is one of my paintings, one I'm donating to a greyhound charity, it is good, it is big and it is worth a few dollars. So after searching and checking FedEx came up first and lowest priced, but if I can't get them to pick up what will I have to do, I'll have to drive 60 miles to drop the painting off at their terminal drop off point and I don't want to do that. The weather isn't all that good, I'm still hurting from weather changes and all the other reasons I hurt, and I don't want to spend the money driving 120 mile round trip will cost, gas is once again over $2.00 a gallon (sorry those of you who pay a lot more), and that starts putting a crimp in my budget, such as it is.

So, I'm going to try the good old USPS again and see what they say about an over sized package, they are right behind me, walking distance, not with a painting that 3' x 5', but close enough not to cost a fortune in gas.

I'll probably keep you in touch with the changes, what happens, the frustrations, etc. of this venture.

Now, change of subject. The picture at the top of the page and across the border of the domain. It is a brain, not on drugs, although it might look it. I get MRIs from some doctors, names removed, and play with them. I colorize, texture them, and make a composite, then I frame the finished work and sell it, mostly to doctors, but not always. They are quite popular, and I like doing it. I thought a brain would be a good logo type thing for this domain and my somewhat psychotic ramblings, OK, they're not psychotic, but some day they might be, we can never tell.

Again change of subject. How would you all like to read some of my original stories? They have a lot of angst and stuff in them, well really according to my therapist, they show a lot of rage. Wouldn't that be fun?

Later y'all, have a psychotic free day.
